Sorry this review is a long time coming but actually itâs more relevant because itâs been a year since my renovation. Everyone loves their renovation when they first get it but after a year? YES!! My cabinets and fixtures still look great and all work. I still love my renovation. When I bought my condo, I had to work hard to see the possibility but Ruman and team worked so hard to help me achieve my vision. They did all the floors, made a pantry and 2 total bathroom renovations. So after a year, I love my place every time I walk through the door. Or walk into my bathroom or take a shower. JC and Ruman were empathetic as I was moving from a house and bought a dated condo because that was all I could afford after my divorce. They helped me look at my new life with possibilities. We got our lower floor done by JC custom improvements. From flooring to ceiling to washrooms and kitchen was fully renovated. I would appreciate them for having such a wonderful team. They have good contacts and know there works in and out. They were easy to contact and kept us informed. Looking forward to get 2 washrooms done this n near future.
We recently worked with this company to renovate our kitchen and bathroom. JC Custom Home Improvements did a really good job. They respected the schedule and our budget. It was super easy to communicate from the beginning to the end. The original quote was clear and easy to understand. The final invoice matched with the quote, which is great when we have a project (small or big) for our house.
This review is for our main bathroom and laundry room reno, completed with JC in July 2024. My spouse and I have been in process of updating our 1980s home over the past several years. We have tackled most projects ourselves, but the bathrooms were something we agreed to hire a general contractor for. We did our due diligence and contacted multiple companies. Of the ones we heard back from, we had site visits from 3, and estimates from 4. We chose JC because of the detail included in the estimate, the local references he provided, as well as the price point being on par with our expectations. We were impressed with JCâs team from the start. From the first visit onwards we received outstanding service. All team members were polite, respectful of our home, and left the site tidy at the end of the day. We were particularly impressed with project manager Ruman. He was super responsive and ensured all our questions were answered throughout all stages. We truly felt like a customer and a partner with this group. The end result photos speak for themselves, we are thrilled with the outcome.
JC just finished renovating our old ensuite bathroom and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. JC's team was respectful, very efficient and mindful of my wish to keep doors closed so my cats wouldn't get out. Especially want to give a shout out to Ruman who kept the project on track and kept me fully informed each day as to progress and schedule.
