Sorry this review is a long time coming but actually itâs more relevant because itâs been a year since my renovation. Everyone loves their renovation when they first get it but after a year? YES!! My cabinets and fixtures still look great and all work. I still love my renovation. When I bought my condo, I had to work hard to see the possibility but Ruman and team worked so hard to help me achieve my vision. They did all the floors, made a pantry and 2 total bathroom renovations. So after a year, I love my place every time I walk through the door. Or walk into my bathroom or take a shower. JC and Ruman were empathetic as I was moving from a house and bought a dated condo because that was all I could afford after my divorce. They helped me look at my new life with possibilities. I have contracted them in Oct 2025 Ryan was very informative and clear of the scope. and Iâm amazed on how smooth and efficient the renovation was. I was out of province and JCâs team like Ruman pro actively provided updates with photos of the renovation and will sought clarifications. This is one of the best contractors I dealt with. We recently worked with this company to renovate our kitchen and bathroom. JC Custom Home Improvements did a really good job. They respected the schedule and our budget. It was super easy to communicate from the beginning to the end. The original quote was clear and easy to understand. The final invoice matched with the quote, which is great when we have a project (small or big) for our house.
I very highly recommend JC Custom Home Improvement Inc. I had one main bathroom for almost full renovation and a powder room that needed an upgraded vanity. I couldn't be happier with the results. I've found that if a job is considered to be "too small," some contractors aren't inclined to do them. However, JC and team eagerly worked with me, installing items I'd already purchased in the powder room, and scheduling time during the install so I could do my own painting. In the main bathroom, they completely re-designed the lighting and added under-mounted led lighting for the new vanity. As with any project, once you start ripping out things, you are bound to find some surprises. In the main bathroom this surprise was an unfinished air vent blowing heat under the vanity. JC's team worked on a solution and finished the necessary duct work to ensure the vent functions as it should. They also addressed an issue with the powder room piping. Everyone involved was highly professional and demonstrated that they knew their stuff. I can rest easy now knowing that everything is to current code standards, functional, and energy efficient. What a difference! The team worked hard and was efficient and responsive via text messaging which was great as I could not be home every day. I cannot thank you enough JC Custom Home Improvement!
